Molecular Biologist

Job Description:

A startup company located in Yokneam Hi-Tech Park is looking for a researcher to join the effort of nanoparticles based anti-cancer therapy development.

Qualifications:

PhD or MSc with at least 2 years of experience in biotechnology industry.
Experience and knowledge in Molecular and Cell Biology methodologies and techniques.

Key Responsibilities:

Designing, execution, and troubleshooting of molecular biology experiments and assays to support discovery and product development efforts.
Analysis, interpretation, documentation and presentation of data to the team.
Working closely with a dynamic, highly-collaborative and interdisciplinary team to contribute what is needed to advancing the company goals and missions.

Knowledge/Skills Requirements:

Hands on experience and knowledge in molecular and cell biology methods and tools such as:
Experience in cell culture work.
Apoptosis assays.
Cell viability assays (XTT).
Different microscopy techniques (ICC, IHC, EM).
Expression analysis of the protein (Immunoblotting, ELISA, and IP) and RNA level (qPCR).
Ultracentrifuge (sucrose gradient).
NanoSight - advantage.
Excellent written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Desire and ability to learn independently.

Advantage:

Knowledge and hands-on experience in experimental oncology development.
Industry or academic experience in the development of biologics (cells, or cell-derived products) for therapeutic use.
Experience with extracellular vesicles.
Ability to travel for execution of off-site experiments.
